So it may just be possible that someone out there watched the first-run rerun of the last episode  of that show and later popped in for a set of Cream live. If’ you’re that person drop us a line.

It grows from a desire tonight to post just one post but I had two links I wanted to relay. They didn’t seem related but look long enough around this incredible internet, and just about any two seemingly unrelated items can be connected. I’ll have to come up with a name for it. (Besides “What’s the Connection?”)

First there was this news story: Dawn Wells, also known as Mary Ann, the perky farm girl from Gilligan’s Island was arrested for possession after leaving her own surprise birthday party.  She’s still looking kinda perky in her mug shot but I don’t know that I’d want to see her in hot pants and a halter.

And two, I just happened to be reading up on Jack Bruce, the voice and bassist for a great pioneering rock band, Cream. Hopefully he’ll put up the rest of his version of the Cream Story on his web site some day soon. He continued to make great music after the band’s farewell. 

What’s the connection?
